Pittsburgh Spay & Vaccination Clinic is seeking to grow our team by welcoming a compassionate and positive Veterinarian. Our three full-time and two part-time Veterinarians have special interests in feline medicine, behavior, general internal medicine, gerontology, extensive soft tissue surgery, medical and surgical oncology, and small mammal medicine and surgery. Your special interests are encouraged.
Our goal is to establish lasting bonds with our clients by stressing education so we can collaborate to provide the best level of care for their pets. Our drive to always achieve a diagnosis is aided by a full Idexx Lab Suite, a VCheck analyzer to provide critical patient case analyses of proBNP, CPL, fPL, TSH, Cortisol, Progesterone, T4 and others. Direct digital radiology, digital dental radiology, Phillips Lumify US, a two table surgical suite, and an IM3 high speed dental suite round out the major equipment list.
All the bells and whistles would be irrelevant without our amazing Technician staff of six Licensed Technicians, three Graduate Technicians, and a Veterinary Assistant who have a combined experience of 220 years. We offer a flexible routine schedule alternating three-day weekends off. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced or new grad veterinarian that are dedicated to enhancing the human-animal bond, professional collaboration and client communication. We are a family who loves coming to work every day, supporting one another is one of our strengths and we like to have fun!
Our Veterinary Clinic, located in a near-eastern suburb of Pittsburgh, PA, is entering our fifth decade of service to our family of clients and their pets. Our original mission in 1980 was that of an urban spay and vaccination clinic, but since 1994, we have enjoyed practicing progressive full-service medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry for dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, and small mammals in a freestanding suburban facility. We have kept our original clinic name, in spite of our expanded practice mission, because of the tremendous name recognition we have garnered in our four county region.
Benefits include superior salary, medical benefits (including health, dental and vision), 401(k), employee assistance program (EAP), CE allowance, vacation, dues, liability coverage, and so much more.
Our practice has a positive, well-being focused culture that we’d love to tell you about.
