Position Description:
We are seeking a Lead Data Governance Analyst to join our team! This will be a critical role for the new Enterprise Data Governance Function & Organization.

Key responsibilities include:
* Defining data policies and standards: establishing data policies, guidelines and standards that govern the collection, storage, usage, and sharing of data across the organization.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
* Data stewardship: identifying and assigning data stewards who are managing and maintaining quality, integrity and security of specific data domains.
* Data classification and lifecycle management.
* Data privacy and security - collaborating with security and privacy teams to define privacy practices, regulations, implementing access controls, data making and encryption.
* Monitoring and auditing governance processes, tracking and reporting of key metric and performance indicators.

Qualifications::
* Typically requires 10+ years relevant experience.

Critical Skills:
* Strong understanding of databases and data structures.
* Lean Six Sigma/Continuous Process Improvement: Process mapping, create and implement controls, and train the stakeholders on the process and the controls.
* Minimum 3-5 years of relevant business experience and working on digital product team.
* Experience designing and refining value case (e.g., financial value to the business, strategic value, etc.
* Experience working in CDO, Big Data or Analytics function @ enterprise level.

Additional Knowledge & Skills:
* Intermediate facilitation skills with the ability to drive issues to closure.
* Strong analytical and time management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:
* Bachelor's degree (in computer science, mathematics or related field) or equivalent experience.
