Constituent Engagement Coordinator -- Gies College of Business Gies Advancement
Job Summary Support the execution of activities related to organizing, developing, and delivering advancement messaging to various Gies Business constituent audiences. Duties & Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with advancement staff, Gies MarCom, and stakeholders throughout the College, coordinate tactics across the advancement organization in support of advancement goals, aligning with the College's brand and ensuring consistency and efficiency.
Assist with managing advancement communications projects, helping ensure timely completion of projects.
Contribute to the organization, creation, and maintenance of Gies advancement materials and communications for the development, stewardship, and alumni engagement functions. Compile project details and information, and draft and edit documents as necessary.
Work collaboratively with stewardship to execute custom, semi-custom, and mini-impact reports for Gies donors and volunteers.
Support the ThankView platform communication efforts for development, stewardship, and alumni engagement functions. Contribute to the drafting and editing of scripts and performing transcription for the platform.
Provide timely and accurate responses to requests for information from Advancement leadership and Advancement office professional staff.
Participate in and contribute to the planning and development of comprehensive strategies for Advancement communications.
Other related duties as assigned to further the mission of the unit.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, public relations, or a closely related field.
One (1) year (12 months) of professional work experience in marketing, public relations, communications, brand management, or advancement.
Demonstrated experience working in a large, complex organization or institution.
Experience in communications and working with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Work experience in advancement, preferably at an institution of higher education.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Copy writing and copy-editing skills
Knowledge of advancement
Project management skills
Appointment Information
This is a 100% full-time Civil Service 5004 - Marketing Associate position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after the search closing date. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity. The salary range for this position starts at $45,000
