Overview
NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director, One Million Black Women: Black in Business Educational Program. In this newly created role, the Associate Director will lead the program including program development, operational strategy, technology and project management, events planning, and process refinement. In conjunction with the schoolâ™s leadership and the Academic Director of the program, the Associate Director will strategically develop, implement, and evaluate One Million Black Women: Black in Business Educational Program with particular emphasis on building internal efficiency, long-term sustainability, and strategic partnership enhancement. They will lead initiatives to support the growth and continuous improvement of the program. The Associate Director will also serve as the primary liaison and communications manager for constituents (vice deans, program advisory board, Goldman Sachs program leadership, faculty and staff, scholars, business advisors, and mentors) through consolidation and standardization of all major communications throughout the cycle. The Associate Director will establish and manage day-to-day operations, project management and build an administrative team focusing on events management and execution, digital communications, and general administration of the program.
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years relevant experience in program design and program/project management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced communications and relationship management skills and ability to work professionally and collaboratively with constituents both internally and externally across a variety of levels is required along with strong project management, writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, strong project management and operations experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Suite is also essential.
Qualifications
This position is a one-year fixed term contract with the possibility of renewal.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $80,0000 to USD $100,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
