The Highlights:

The Director of Strategic Projects is responsible for developing, managing, and overseeing the project plans for high-priority initiatives that drive operational excellence across DePaul University. This position requires a strategic thinker and an adept problem solver with exceptional project management skills, a collaborative mindset, and masterful executor. This role will help to shape the future of DePaul University through the execution of initiatives that deliver exceptional results.

What You'll Do:

• Develops, maintains, and manages multiple large-scale projects simultaneously to drive operational excellence. Works with appropriate individuals and parties to ensure that project milestones are achieved. Meets deadlines and overall budget constraints.
• Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the progress and success of strategic initiatives.
• Develops project plans, presentations and reports relating to projects. Communicates statuses of projects to necessary
  individuals and/or groups. Ensures quality control.
• Provides regular updates and reports on the status of ongoing initiatives.
• Identifies potential risks and challenges associated with strategic initiatives and develops mitigation plans.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, management, strategy, etc.); MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 3 - 5 years of proven experience in strategic planning and execution.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work in matrixed, cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
