Job Summary:
The Clinical Systems Coordinator Senior is part of the UKHC IT Informatics team and provides implementation and support of integrated Clinical Information Systems. Responsible for execution of assigned project tasks for departmental and IT Governance approved projects to ensure achievement of project milestones. Recommends business design strategies to support enterprise standards, goals and mission. Evaluates workflow, business requirements, training needs, data integrity and overall system trouble-shooting. Uses knowledge of coding, documentation, policies/ procedures for system development and analysis. Uses subject matter expertise to identify opportunities and develop recommendations, collects and assesses data to impact benefit realization, system optimization, and transformation. Analyzes both qualitative and quantitative ROI and financial impact of systems implementation and optimization. Demonstrates expertise in Data Management
Skills /Knowledge/Abilities:
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of clinical systems, healthcare informatics and demonstrated expertise in Data Management along with a strong knowledge base and skills associated with external measures, data analysis, workflow analysis, process improvement, quality assurance, and project management; ability to collaborate and work well with a diverse group of internal & external customers; excellent oral and written communication, as well as the ability to present effectively; analytical skills; initiative; and planning, training, documentation and organization skills.

Preferred Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree with at least three years experience in healthcare clinical care, external measures, quality and safety. Registered nurse preferred.
