Summary of Duties:
The Charles R. Conner Museum Collections Manager position manages the research and teaching vertebrate natural history museum collections, which includes managing short-term personnel, access to the collections, databasing and digitizing, and facilitating use of the teaching collections. The position manages the public display areas of the museum and monitors visitation and coordinates creation of new displays. This position is the main contact person to facilitate collections use by WSU and external parties, including faculty, research and teaching staff, graduate students, undergraduates, and other interested constituencies.
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in history, anthropology, archaeology, museum studies, fine arts, education or closely related field and two years experience as a museum curator; OR equivalent education/experience.
