FirsTech's Program & Delivery Manager is responsible for managing the activities for a set of medium to large initiatives including development and maintenance of project plans, stakeholder management, customer onboarding and risk management. Manager will exhibit a demonstrated capability to lead with strong attention to onboarding and project management in a SaaS environment, facilitating the delivery of value.
The Program & Delivery Manager will help drive cultural change within the organization through optimal process implementation. They will serve as a subject matter expert on Agile development, understanding engineering practices and serve as a role model for the team to model Agile behaviors and key mindset shifts. This role will also partner with leadership to identify strengths and opportunities for continuous improvement recommendations within existing processes.
Additional Duties:
Participate and lead the identification, design, development, and implementation of assigned initiatives
Interface with internal and external resources to assess client requirements and ensure successful and timely completion of initiatives in accordance with client and organizational needs
Partner with Product to break down the high-level objectives of the initiative into epics, features, and stories for successful delivery team implementation
Document Business Requirements and Project Intake documents and translate them into Project Plans with clear workstreams, deliverables, milestones, etc
Anticipate and mitigate impediments
Create and maintain dashboards and reports for assigned initiatives
Maintain open communication with PMO leadership and stakeholders on initiative progress
Serve as POC on all assigned initiatives
Work with PMO leader on monthly / annual forecasting & reporting
Ensure compliance with FirsTech processes
Demonstrate transparency with initiative progress, impediments, and engagement from stakeholders
Facilitate retrospectives as needed throughout project lifecycle
Act as Scrum Master for up to 2 teams when required, facilitating daily stand up, prioritization, grooming, estimation, and retrospectives for assigned teams
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Knowledge of:
Knowledge and experience with the SDLC and Agile project management methods such as SAFe, Scrum, Kanban and Scrumban
Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence
Microsoft Teams, WebEx
Ability to:
Manage multiple mid to large initiatives concurrently
Communicate and build relationships with external clients
Work both independently and also cohesively with team members

EDUCATION AND TRAINING
7 - 10 years of experience in program or project management with a focus on interactions throughout all steps in software development lifecycle
2+ years of experience in the payment processing or financial tech space
Proven track record of launching and implementing a release plan and a program management process
Experience working with multiple teams across various time zones
Ability to hold people accountable and manage through influence
