The purpose of this position is to further development efforts by evaluating and identifying prospects for research, as well as maintaining and organizing constituent information in the database. This position will work closely with the Director of Development and Alumni Relations and with gift officers as a partner in helping to reach departmental goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Manage database management system
• Plan, implement, and track prospect research
• Manage alumni database
• Utilize research tools, databases, and other means for identifying prospective donors

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree obtains through a formal four-year program.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Should be familiar with best practices in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and the ability to identify new potential CRM applications to support institutional advancement.
• Strong interpersonal, writing, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to stay abreast of fundraising trends and prospect research techniques and tools.
• Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
• Ability to interact with diverse constituencies in a collaborative environment.
• Understanding financial information and how to assess the financial worth of individuals.
• Understanding of how to link information from different database systems.
• Strong understanding in building queries and reports.
• Demonstrated ability to set and achieve priorities.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills.
