What will you be doing?
??? ?? ??Assisting the Equity Linked and FSG including advising on, and drafting documentation for, equity derivatives transactions, structured share buyback trades and margin loans
??? ?? ??You may be required to work on developing and implementing policies and procedures applicable to the business area to minimise legal risks
??? ?? ??Advising on and helping to implement regulatory change projects as well as programmes to enable the strategic development of the business area
??? ?? ??Engaging with internal & external stakeholders including external counsel
??? ?? ??Delivering updates on relevant legal, regulatory and governance matters to senior management and colleagues within both Legal and the front office
??? ?? ??Fostering collaboration with other legal teams both within Markets and more broadly to ensure sharing of knowhow and efficient legal coverage
??? ?? ??Acting as strategic partner and advisor on the legal, regulatory, and reputational impact of regulatory change and implementation

What we???re looking for:
??? ?? ??Qualified lawyer with experience gained in either private practice or in-house in a finance legal team
??? ?? ??Experience of complex structured transactions, potentially from a ECM or Leveraged Finance background with an appetite for derivatives lending

Skills that will help you in the role:

??? ?? ??Experience of working on derivatives transactions and/or loan transactions
??? ?? ??Knowledge and understanding of granting security
??? ?? ??Experience of working on structured equity derivatives transactions and/or margin loans
??? ?? ??Significant stakeholder management skills

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
