The Cardinal Health Pharma eCommerce team is looking for an experienced Senior eCommerce Merchandising Owner who will be driving, strategizing, and executing product merchandising for our eCommerce ordering platform. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to; developing strategies, executing merchandising initiatives and enhancements, taxonomy within STIBO STEP system, and partnering with cross-functional leadership to drive revenue and profitability based on data driven insights from sales and customer behavior analysis. This individual will report to the eCommerce Merchandising Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive and implement optimized merchandising strategies that focus on maximizing customer experience through website taxonomy, cross categorizing, and direct change to maximize sales and profitability.
Manage and produce website navigation, facets, and product recommendations that deliver product revenue.
Design and execute marketing requests and special initiatives, create alignment with marketing teams to drive results and achieve key business objectives.
Manage product taxonomy governance and data flow, establish weekly audit review processes to maintain category and product results. Alert the team and management of data, image, and functionality discrepancies or inconsistencies.
Lead meetings with legal, search, product, and marketing teams to implement key merchandising strategies and recommendations for usability improvement. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Collaborate cross functionally with Master Data Governance, Legal, IT, Consumer Health, Clinicians, Digital Product Owners, Brand, Generics, Analytics, and Marketing to optimize and drive higher conversion through merchandising initiatives.
Advance the digital merchandising experiences by establishing strong relationships with business stakeholders across the broader organization.
Strategize and execute tool enhancements to drive customer experience, related and complimentary products initiative process to delivery business KPIs.
Optimize analytic results to build recommendations for research, benchmarks, and engagement strategies driving exposure to meet key metrics and deliverables.
Test operational functionality within system platforms, QA & UAT merchandising tasks in dev/staging, and coordinating with Dev, QA IT, and PIM Owner on improvements, tools, and process enhancements.
Develop and manage strategy roadmaps for merchandising tactics and enhancement projects to drive conversion through overall customer initiatives.
Train and develop new team members on key merchandising strategy, processes, and systems knowledge.
Develop and champion efficient workflows through a continuous improvement environment driving operational excellence.
Apply agile methodology to continuously improve business tools, workflow efficiencies, and site experience.
SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, eCommerce, Marketing, or related field preferred
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Merchandising, Marketing, or eCommerce
Utilize time management skills and prioritization to enable execution on multiple deliverables within timely manner
Experience in Adobe Experience Manager, STIBO STEP, and content management system a plus
Experienced in project planning, project management, and project development
Must be organized, detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving skill with excellent communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as cross functionally with a team to execute tasks and projects and achieve desired results
Experience in healthcare or pharmaceuticals is a plus
Operational excellence, site improvements, and digital transformation experiences is a plus
Ability to make in moment decisions that impact business needs
