Overview
The Division of Enrollment Management and Student Success within the NYU School of Professional Studies (SPS) is seeking Senior Director to provide leadership of the admissions and financial aid function. The Senior Director will contribute to the development, and lead the execution, of recruitment and financial aid strategies. Develop and execute financial aid strategies designed to recruit prospective, and retain current, students. Identify and execute cutting edge technologies to advance and support recruitment functions. Ensures SPS achieves enrollment and revenue goals.
Responsibilities
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education: Master's Degree Education, Business, Marketing, or other relevant discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Experience: 7+ years increasingly responsible admissions, marketing, and/or financial aid experience; experience in developing and managing recruitment, admissions operations, funnel management, knowledge of financial aid, and execution of enrollment management supportive technologies. Progressive supervisory experience; or equivalent combination.
Preferred Experience: Experience serving non-traditional and adult students preferred, in addition to both graduate and undergraduate students.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Proven ability to lead, direct, and implement effective recruitment and retention strategies and to develop strategic marketing plans. Demonstrated success with setting and achieving enrollment goals and experience using data and information effectively in planning, decision-making, and assessment of enrollment strategies and processes. Strong service-orientation and a proven commitment to working with diverse populations. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; knowledge of admissions trends and demographics; excellent community building skills, and ability to effectively communicate with a diverse community of faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Preference for strong knowledge of financial aid and direct experience in leveraging aid in the recruitment process.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Expert knowledge of application management and CRM platforms. Expert knowledge of data analysis skills and techniques to include Tableau, MS Excel. Knowledge of Student Information Systems such as Peoplesoft.
Qualifications
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $130,000.00 to USD $170,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
