We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Product Manager to join our institutional advancement efforts. This position requires functional oversight, optimization, and customizing of Brandeisâ™ iteration of the Salesforce platform, ascend, MCAE (formerly Pardot), and Linvio software. Reporting to the Senior Vice President in Institutional Advancement, the Senior Salesforce Product Manager will play a crucial role in supporting our fundraising operations, enhancing donor and alumni relationships, and optimizing data management and reporting processes.
Serve as the primary point person for IA and ITS leadership, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) steering committee, technical resources, and end users to identify, track, and deploy solutions for a wide range of data, reporting, and product needs.
Reporting through IA while serving as the key liaison to the ITS resources, this role will advance the stabilization of the Salesforce platforms to ensure IA has the tools it needs to manage all aspects of the advancement operation. This includes Ascend, Linvio, and MCAE software, and work towards smooth day-to-day operations.
Will advise the CRM technical resources in Information Technology to determine the appropriate customization and configuration of the Salesforce system and its associated suite of tools to meet the needs of Institutional Advancement and Brandeis University.
In conjunction with ITS resources, will advise and direct mapping for data imports, data cleansing, and regular date maintenance tools and tasks, including revisiting all recently converted data components.
Collaborate with fundraising stakeholders to understand their needs and identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimization. Streamline and automate workflows to enhance the efficiency of fundraising operations.
With ITS, coordinate training and ongoing support to fundraising staff and users on Salesforce, Ascend, and Linvio software.
Keep up-to-date with the latest Salesforce updates, features, and enhancements.
Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in Salesforce administration and fundraising technology.
BA/BS required. Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or Related Field preferred plus 5-8 yrs related work experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with preferred focus on Ascend and Linvio software.
Experience with IT governance and business objective prioritization.
Salesforce Certified Administrator or similar certifications are highly desirable.
Proven experience in customizing, configuring, and managing Salesforce, with a demonstrated understanding of complex workflows and data management.
Proficiency in creating custom reports, dashboards, and analytical insights in line with Advancement best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Extensive understanding of fundraising business practices in a higher education environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Prior experience leveraging project management tools and structures to ensure work is prioritized, sequenced, and connected to outcomes in support of the Universityâ™s mission.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
