Job SummaryThe Principal Mammo Technologist is responsible for performing screening mammography, diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound and all interventional and invasive procedures in the Mammography Department and serves as a resource for the Imaging technologists in the Breast Imaging department. The Principal Technologist may suggest changes in procedures, and quality improvement, as well as coordinates training and development of the Mammo Technologist.In addition, this position demonstrates mastery of all hospital or clinical imaging competencies.
