What Project Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Engineering is responsible for performing research and analyses to develop design options for components, products, systems and processes.
Program/Project Management is responsible for managing the execution of programs and/or projects consisting of single or multiple projects and/or programs. May manage project and/or program manager within assigned program and/or project. Works within the constraints of budget, schedule and scope while managing risk and ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies.
We have a need for a Project Manager within our 3PL Business unit! 3PL is one of the fastest growing businesses with Cardinal Health. 3PL focuses on assisting manufacturers get their products to market quickly. The 3PL business manages order to cash for over 200+ manufacturers and is expected to grow by 35 clients annually. The Project Manager for this team is responsible for IT setups for newly onboarding manufacturers and collaborating with multiple business units and third parties as needed. The team is also responsible for Samples Management integrations, ERP Integrations, data feeds, unit acceptance testing, and run support for projects supporting 3PL clients. This is a newly added role to help manage custom implementation projects for our more complex 3PL clients.
Responsibilities
Leads small projects team that may include both business analysts and developers.
Responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of the project including estimating, project requirements, design, development, testing, change control, and deployment.
Responsible for project management activities including project setup, timecard management, forecasting, project status reporting, meeting management, communication management, resource management, schedule management, risk & issue management, scope management and solution delivery management.
Coordinate with PMO on financial management activities as appropriate.
Schedules and leads periodic status meetings and working meetings per project need.
Established and manages project schedule.
Monitors work and ensures work is done in conjunction with client launch deadlines. Communicates issues and drives escalations as appropriate.
Communicates key milestones and project status through regular status reporting per terms in the statement of work (SOW).
Provide coaching and feedback to resources assigned to the project.
Raises issues to manager CIT and other key stakeholders as appropriate.
Develop best practices and tools for delivering CIT projects including standard setup of documentation on project teams' site.
Develop dashboard and enhance white glove (dedicated) resources for platinum (top 15) clients.
Leading estimates for complex / custom integrations and leading assigned projects
Own the execution of the projects and lead the assigned resources.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience
4-8 years of experience in project management preferred
Working knowledge of ServiceNow preferred
General knowledge of ITIL processes preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products preferred.
Anticipated salary range: $78,100 - $112,000
