Develop administrative and technical policies and procedures to ensure security and integrity of data. Write, maintain and enforce IT security policies. Administer Active Directory, ticketing system and DNS. Liaise with central NYU IT server administrators to coordinate maintenance, installation and configurations. Manage support for the application to access the SUNAPSIS database.

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Training in Computer Network Management

Required Experience:
3+ years of previous system administration experience. Must include understanding of networking/distributed computing environment, hardware/software installation, desktop/server administration, and providing technical training.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Working knowledge of Windows and Windows Server administration. SQL Server administration, ColdFusion Server Management, Excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to program in an administrative language (e.g, Windows Powershell, VBScript, Java, SQL). Strong interpersonal and communications ability to convey technical information to a non-technical audience, and work closely with upper management

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Certification in network management. Some knowledge of Mac and Linux OS preferred

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $80,000.00 to USD $90,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
