Overview
Provide leadership and direction for the Office of Global Recruitment, Admissions and Financial Aidâ™s (GRAF) strategic planning, project management, financial planning, and global program development activities on behalf of the Vice President. Deeply understand GRAFâ™s business needs and functions, and develop continuous improvement methodologies. Ensure solutions to high level issues intersecting with the GRAF portfolio, including situations involving a cross section of understanding and policies across the global campuses. With the concurrence of the VP and other leadership team members where appropriate, steward GRAFâ™s people and/or financial resources to ensure ongoing projects and initiatives are properly assessed, evaluated, and effectively implemented. Develop and implement short and long-term projects aimed at optimizing cross-functional efficiencies, enhancing internal communications, and meeting GRAFâ™s objectives. This position is an active participant in shaping broader strategic direction and project directing across the global teams.
Responsibilities
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Business Administration or Communications
Required Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience in a global work environment with budget and project management.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the demonstrated ability to develop, communicate and execute deliverables across complex organizations with multiple constituencies and audiences. Collaborative and collegial orientation with strong interpersonal, intercultural and relationship-building skills, including the demonstrated ability to influence individuals at all levels of the organization. Excellent strategic planning, decision making, and quantitative/budgetary skills. Multicultural sensibility and a deep understanding of cultural sensitivities is essential.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Expert technological proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Knowledge of educational technology platforms. Fluency in other languages.
Qualifications
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $120,000 to $130,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
