Position Description
The candidate will be part of the CoverMyMeds (CMM) implementation team under the leadership of the Software Development Manager. The focus of this position is to provide technical systems configuration, implementation, and consulting for large, automated pharmacies on CMM technology which includes the full software stack from low-level control of robots & conveyor systems, through controllers & databases, and up to UI & web services at sites located across the US. The Sr. Implementation Analyst will be working closely with the Implementation Project Manager, Hardware Implementation Consultant, customer, and vendor resources for the duration of 1 to 3-month projects. The Sr. Implementation Analyst is responsible to follow the Project Plan, Scheduling, and cost plan to ensure quality and timely delivery.
This role requires travel up to 75% (travel is sporadic, might travel a few weeks in a row, then not again for the next few weeks).
Key Responsibilities include:
Responsible for implementing & supporting software applications for one or more products in different areas of McKesson CMM systems.
Works on projects that involve network, server, or software implementation and is responsible for implementing & supporting servers, workstations, networks, printers, etc. for one or more products of McKesson CMM systems.
Provides implementation support such as installation, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and training.
Provides analytic support throughout the implementation process to ensure a successful link to business objectives/goals.
Provide ongoing customer support.
Provide status reporting of team activities against the program plan or schedule. Keep the manager informed of task accomplishment, issues, and status
Schedule coordination and management of technical installation resources in multiple disciplines including mechanical installation, electrical, and network installation.
Collaborate with the customer on the strategy, preparation, and installation of all related software deployments, forms deployments, hardware and peripherals, and related configurations within the CMM Systems.
Work closely with vendors and the customer to build, test and deliver interfaces to external 3rd party modules in conjunction with the CMM System.
Execute the certification process where an Interface or Hardware Component in scope for a customer Implementation which are not currently certified.
Work closely with customer resources to develop, test and implement custom labels and forms for use within the Pharmacy System
Work with internal CMM teams to ensure the on time build of system environments and internal configurations to support related interfaces, modules, and external feeds
Develop and facilitate customer training and consulting sessions on peripheral installation, software deployment, configuration, interface support, forms development, and hardware deployment.
Provide Go Live support as needed for software, production hardware, interfaces, and forms
Create and maintain standard operating procedure documentation for all functions
Travel to remote sites for training or installation of CMM products and services. Maintain fiscal responsibility for business-related expenses associated with the company-issued credit card.
Being buddy, Train new hires and Implementation Engineers
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Minimum Requirements:
Critical Skills
Prior experience in implementing custom proprietary software.
Experience in automated/manual Installing, Configuring, and testing custom software.
5+ Years' experience as a Software Implementation Consultant including software installs for medium to large-sized technology projects or related demonstrable skills and experience.
Direct and Hands-on installation, configuration, and maintenance experience in windows servers, Windows workstations, and domain administration.
Knowledge on ESXi, vSphere, Hyper-V, clustering, high availability, shared storage
Networking knowledge, including VPNs and firewall configurations
Prior Experience in printers & peripherals integration with Software.
Prior experience in Unit and system testing and validation.
Experience in relational databases (SQL, MariaDB)
Familiarity with Agile product development and object-oriented design principles
Additional Skills:
Prior programming experience is a plus
Knowledge of multi-threaded and distributed applications
Experience in Software Development is a plus
Knowledge of Software Development using .Net Applications.
Direct Implementation experience of CMM technologies is preferred.
Knowledge of Web Interfaces, XML/SOAP messaging, and HL7 is desired
Ideally the candidate would have handled business-to-business implementations.
Proven customer communication skills. Must have the ability to handle and eliminate most project obstacles directly with the customer project team and other internal CMM teams.
Facilitation skills are required. The candidate will be required to lead subject meetings, training, and consultations both internally and customer-facing
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and customer teams.
Ability to learn quickly

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position
$85,900 - $143,100
