- Partnering with brand managers and field marketers to deliver creative, data-driven digital advertising plans.
- Determining the correct mix of digital channels for both always-on and campaign-specific programs.
- Continually monitoring marketing effectiveness and identifying opportunities across a range of KPIs and developing regular reporting schedules.
- Collaborating with the various business unit marketing and data management teams to manage a data pipeline, including the collection, cleansing, wrangling, blending, storage, reporting, and visualization of data.
- Supporting data governance initiatives by adhering to data privacy and compliance policies and ensuring customer data is handled securely.
- Collaborating with data analysts and data scientists to leverage customer data for audience targeting and personalization.
- Documenting and maintaining metadata related to customer data used in marketing activities.
- Working closely with the web team to align SEM and SEO strategies.
- Optimizing the online user experience and increasing marketing effectiveness.
- Executing online marketing programs including paid advertising, social marketing, and viral marketing to create buzz and inbound demand responses.
- Driving website traffic which converts to sales pipeline.
- Translating demand generation data into promotional marketing campaigns and audience personas.
- Leveraging localized content across all digital marketing channels, including web, social, and paid advertising.
- Analyzing program effectiveness and using the data to recommend content enhancements and optimize digital programs.
- Collecting and analyzing digital/internet/website/mobile data and statistics to reduce wasted ad spend and create marketing personas/audience profiles.
- Researching and evaluating new technology trends and identifying new optimization opportunities.
Critical Knowledge and Competencies
- Superior project management skills; execution-focused and able to drive complex projects to completion; detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to forge highly collaborative cross-business unit and cross-functional relationships with both peers and executive stakeholders.
- Familiarity with enterprise marketing tools, services and concepts, including digital advertising, demand generation, account-based marketing, SEM, SEO, social media marketing, content marketing, web analytics, personalization, and user experience.
- Familiarity with data management, reporting, and visualization tools, services, and concepts.
- Strong writing skills.
- Ability to take direction from more than one leader, work independently or as part of a team, and manage multiple project elements at the same time.
- Healthcare and B2B knowledge/experience preferred.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years' work experience in digital marketing/advertising, content management, or related field.
Education & Travel Demands
- 4-year degree, ideally in marketing, business or other relevant field.
- Occasional travel (less than 10%) required.

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position
$95,900 - $159,900
