Position Summary
The Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for identifying, planning and implementing key projects and processes that improve quality, reduce cost, improve effectiveness, increase productivity and scalability, resulting in significant business improvement and customer satisfaction. We also collaborate with teams across the company on a wide variety of projects, operational improvements and procedures. We want you to be a part of this evolving team and help scale its capabilities as a major support unit. You will be expected to build relationships with the Commercial Intelligence (CI) and Real -World Evidence (RWE) teams and provide those teams project support and guidance as needed.
Primary Responsibilities
- Consults on the development of Study Documents (Protocol, SAP, Reports)
- Advises on project status details for all projects to ensure budgets, milestones, resources, key risks and allocations are all maintained and reported
- Oversees project governance and status of schedule, scope, and resources
- Institutes best practices and tools used to manage projects
- Oversees the portfolio management of biopharma customer contracts, financials, KPI and metrics
- Trains on demand and capacity management as integral to the project intake process
- Advises on quality assurance standards, policies and procedures, training, system auditing and monitoring, and internal reporting
- Consults on external/internal audit activities
- Proactively collaborate with team, identify stakeholders and interview subject matter experts
- Trains and advises in analyzing and evaluating documentation, reports, data, flowcharts
which can be used in an internal or customer requested audit. - Lead and manage the creation, review and approval of SOP reviews which will be in
accordance to the procedures developed - Execute process improvement solutions to business problems, using data analysis, real
world evidence, and optimization tools to support strategic process improvement initiatives - Build relationships with Ontada employees, business partners and customers.
- Be a change agent within the organization and build a collaborative community that
leverages data to support business strategies and objectives - Oversees key organizational change management and training needs and implement
solutions and/or trainings to improve operations - Work with Finance to develop project and organizational metrics; develop tools and methods
to track and report relevant key performance indicators (KPI's)
Minimum Requirements
7+ years of project management experience (1 less year required with a Master's degree)
Critical Skills:
- Quality Management (e.g. audit, quality control, quality assurance) experience
- Process Improvement experience, Six Sigma, Technical writing and clinical/RWE
- experience
- BA or BS degree or equivalent experience
- Master's degree preferred
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Additional Skills:
- Proven ability to both handle and oversee multiple projects while meeting deadlines and ensuring progress towards those deadlines
- Proven experience solving business issues through process improvement initiatives
- Proven experience in procedure and policy development in order to guide others
- Experience in training large groups of people and understands change management
- Understands risk management and mitigation of those risks
- Can review and understand high level financials, invoicing and revenue recognition
- Highly Preferred: Project Management Profession (PMP) Certification

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position
$106,500 - $177,500
