Detailed Job Description
Oversee fundraising platform for success in digital giving including ROAR Day, RIT's Get in the Game and other digital engagement opportunities that meet strategy.
Contribute to the comprehensive and strategic annual giving program that maximizes philanthropic support and involvement of alumni and constituents of RIT and meets University Advancement goals. Strategies include the coordination, execution and assessment of a multi-channel approach.
In partnership with University Advancement, lead student engagement efforts to reinforce campus traditions, increase pipeline development, and enhance student understanding of philanthropy. This includes working with students to create digital fundraising/engagement content and co-advising RIT's Student Alumni Alliance.
Collaborate with Marketing & Communications and/or outside vendors to create and produce effective collateral materials in support of annual giving initiatives.
Collaborate with the Advancement Services team to effectively leverage and analyze constituent data in support of effective donor identification, cultivation, and solicitation.
In conjunction with the entire Alumni & Constituent Engagement Team, may develop and organize annual giving events.
Actively participate with campus partners to strengthen student engagement efforts between students and alumni.

Minimum Qualifications Education/Experience:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
3 - 5 years of experience in annual giving/fundraising, alumni relations, donor relations, stewardship or equivalent skill, preferred in higher education.
Skills:
Proven record of fundraising success and/or knowledge in annual giving.
Goal-oriented with a proven ability to engage donors and prospects.
Demonstrated ability to work successfully with high-level university administrators, faculty, students, donors and volunteers.
Excellent team skills to engage with colleagues across University Advancement.
Knowledge or ability to learn industry specific software, including annual giving digital platforms.
Strong leadership abilities and ability to work independently.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Excellent computer skills and advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
