Postdoctoral Research Fellow

The Biomedical Image Analysis Group in the Computer ScienceDepartment at Boston College seeks motivated postdoctoral fellows to work onapplied research projects in computer vision. The successful applicant willapply cutting edge computer vision and machine learning approaches (e.g.,segmentation, LLM) to process and analyze biomedical image data.

Responsibilities:

• Developand implement new methods for the analysis of biomedical images, with a focuson pathology images and 3D microscopy images
• Collaboratewith researchers in neuroscience, radiology, and other relevant departments toapply image analysis methods to relevant problems
• Publishresearch findings in high-impact journals and present at conferences
• Mentorand train junior research staff, graduate students, and undergraduate students
• Participatein grant writing and project management activities

This is a full-time, two-year appointment with a competitivesalary and benefits package. The start date is flexible and will be determinedbased on the availability of the successful candidate.
