Under the supervision the Director of Continuing Education, the Continuing Education Coordinator (CEC) will assist in the oversight of the division???s Healthcare Institute. The CEC must have excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills. This role includes managing relationships with faculty, staff and contract / employer partners while meeting internal and external reporting requirements.
This position will coordinate partnerships, create trainings and oversee the offerings in the catalog for all healthcare courses. This person would assist in the management of healthcare course operations, including ensuring all policies and procedures are up to date for the students, program, and outcome data is tracked and recorded and providing regular reports on the program to funders, the department, and the college as needed. This role includes coordinating NHA Testing, student advisement and communications, faculty supports and communications, supporting healthcare lab as needed or assigned andall accreditation paperwork is properly processed with the various healthcare credentialing associations.
Additionally, this role will engage in continuous quality improvement processes, including collecting course evaluations from students and analyzing the results, observing instructors in the classroom and lab, and well as identifying program areas needing improvement and recommending ways to address these areas, including participation in an annual program review.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required
Three years administrative experience required.
Project management skills, including management of complex projects with multiple components and stakeholders
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage time appropriately
Team player who is flexible, collaborative, and communicative
Outcomes driven, demonstrating creativity and an ability to solve problems to ensure optimal results
Student centered, demonstrating a commitment to and understanding of diverse student populations
Ability to work some evening and weekend hours
Experience with partnership management and employer relations; relationships with healthcare employers
