The ideal candidate is highly organized, has an established background in project management and event planning, exceptional customer service skills, an eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work closely within a team. You will draft and produce event and marketing collateral, create event communications plans, develop interdepartmental collaborations, maximize relationships to secure donated goods/services and to enhance the guest event experience, work with the foundation finance team to ensure smooth collection and transfer of financial data including event budget reconciliation, payment of expenses and collections of revenues/receivables, and serve as a point of contact for internal partners, event volunteers and committees.
By the end of the first year, you will have planned and executed several fundraising and cultivation events; developed and implemented processes to streamline and enhance current events; created opportunities to develop new event donors, presenters and volunteers; mastered event software tools and platforms for registration, auctions, and project management; managed and tracked audience data for special event activities; and worked closely with foundation colleagues to advance the foundation's strategic priorities with external target audiences.
