The Senior Manager, Global Security Operations Center enables enterprise-wide visibility of the global risk landscape by managing processes to collect, analyze, and disseminate data to mitigate global risks. The Senior Manager is responsible for the management of the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) program and initiatives to protect McKesson's facilities, properties, and employees. The Senior Manager leads a multi-function team responsible for electronic security system (ESS) monitoring and response, transportation security program monitoring and response, traveler risk management, assessing domestic and global risk, and providing duty of care support for McKesson travelers and operations. Additionally, the Senior Manager manages processes which provide support to the Protective Services team, events management, and the enterprise crisis and incident response operations.
- Lead and manage the GSOC and its contracted staff of 13 including Global Security Analysts, Transportation Security Analyst, Dedicated Intelligence Analyst, and Risk Management contractors.
- Manage the collection, analysis, and dissemination of global risk, threat, and intelligence information for internal business unit customers. Identify and assess global events that may impact McKesson's people, facilities, business operations, and reputation.
- Manage the GSOC's integrated electronic security monitoring systems and ensure that responses comply with McKesson's protocols and security standards. Manage multiple cloud-based servers and collaborate with McKesson Technology and Global Security's P&ESP team to ensure operational serviceability, accountability, and operational technology security of all GSOC equipment and software.
- Manage McKesson's Travel Risk Management Program and Asset Risk Management Program for over 450 McKesson business operations.
- Support and assist with strategic planning, establishing objectives, budgeting, training, and program management initiatives.
- Coordinate with GSS Regional Security Operations, Physical and Electronic Security Programs, Environmental Health & Safety, Business Continuity, and Business Units on all operational items with direct and indirect impact to those teams.
Minimum Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):
Education/Training:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a 4-year college or university or a minimum of seven (7) years of related experience.
Business Experience/Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
- Prior experience leading in a collaborative environment such as a security operations, fusion, or command center environment is preferred, but not required.
- Previous experience in risk and incident management, central alarm monitoring, duty of care, identifying emerging risks, and travel safety & security.
- Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts to GSOC operations. May be regarded as an 'in-house' expert on specific GSOC technologies. Conducts projects requiring additional specialized knowledge of electronic security systems, the identification of emerging risks, and transportation security.
- Strong analytical skills with high levels of attention to detail and accuracy; effective at applying strategic and analytical thinking to deliver business insights; able to identify trends and patterns to deliver predictive intelligence in support of business units' operations.
- Works on complex problems regarding risk and provides highly creative solutions. Uses independent judgement within defined policies and practices to accomplish GSOC objectives.
- Must have excellent communication skills including the ability to brief senior-level executives with clear summaries that will be used to facilitate decisions. This includes disseminating critical information and actionable intelligence to key decision-makers about events and incidents that could impact McKesson.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities and using sound judgement to drive concurrent tasks to successful completion.
- Experience in project management, organizational change, and/or process improvement.
- Adept at working through ambiguity, putting structure around problems and tasks with limited guidance.
- Effective at establishing collaborative working relationships with diverse stakeholders including internal McKesson functional groups and industry peers or subject matter experts.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft product suite, with a proven ability to organize and prepare presentations and data to share thoughtful, detailed information in easy-to-understand language and formats. Proficient at visual storytelling.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position
$90,000 - $150,000
