Overview
Manage day-to-day operations of technology and network systems for the Martin Scorsese Center and the Department of Film & Television at Tisch School of the Arts. Develop and implement operational and creative policies and practices. Support in researching, developing, proposing, planning, coordinating, and facilitating learning opportunities in training and technology. Ensure implementation and training are consistent with established industry and School curricular standards and related technologies. Advise students, faculty, and staff on technology, serve as resource expert recommending options to and resolving complex problems.
Responsibilities
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science
Required Experience:
2+ years film or video production computer management, supervision experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience:
2+ years Experience in an academic and/or post production environment.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and project management skills. Ability to communicate policies and procedures to individuals at all levels and use problem-solving and negotiating skills. Proficiency with various network systems, virtual production technologies and software. Ability to direct, evaluate, and implement a variety of operations and activities.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of current and emerging technologies (e.g., virtual, digital and analog film and television technologies).
Qualifications
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $74,700.00 to USD $91,300.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
