Basic Function: The Program Manager will work closely with various departments within the university to ensure that research needs are met and that the budget and grants management remain aligned with BERC mission and goals. CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Develop and manage the program budget and grants, ensuring that all expenditures are
within the given budget and grant constraints.
● Submitting contracts and purchase orders
● Manage staff onboarding, including hiring, training, and evaluating personnel in the
program as needed
● Review and analyze data from various sources to ensure the effectiveness of research
programs and make recommendations for changes and improvements
● Participate in the development and implementation of center-wide policies, initiatives,
and strategic plans regarding academic programs
● Process expenses and reimbursements
● Schedule room reservations
● Be responsible for travel and lodging arrangements and requests
● Coordinate with various departments and organizations within the university to promote
rapport and collaboration
● Manage the BERC calendar
● Manage BERC website, email account, and other external communications
● Manage and track research and community-based projects
● Contribute social media content
Minimum Qualifications: ● A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in education, business administration, or a related field is required. ● At least five years of experience in academic program management or a related field ● Demonstrated experience in budget development, management, and office administration
Preferred Qualifications: ● A Master's degree is preferred. ● Previous experience working with TC systems and operations ● Experience with Banner, ChromeRiver, and UniMarket
Salary Range:
$69,000- $87,000
