The Contract Administrator position is responsible for the administration of contract processes for UC Davis Health's Facilities Planning and Development Division under the supervision of the Contracts Manager. Experience in public administration of construction and consultant contracts.
Experience with construction contract and competitive bid policies, procedures, and regulations. Knowledge of legal concepts and principles to recognize unacceptable contract provisions in construction contracts, consultant agreements and authorizations.
Experience reading and analyzing complex technical and legal documents, including construction contracts, negotiated contracts, and consultant agreements.
Skills to research, interpret, and apply federal/state/university rules, regulations, policies, and department mission, goals, and objectives.
Skill to analyze technical problems, develop solutions, and make recommendations based on objective analysis.
Ability to obtain cooperation and support from others, optimize contributions of all project staff including consultants and members, and freely share information and expertise.
Skill, ability, or experience to contribute as a team player in a respectful and professional environment.
Skill to work independently and make decisions under general direction.
