St. John Fisher University, an independent, liberal arts institution in the Catholic tradition located in Rochester, New York, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor with expertise in the Digital Humanities, along with the pedagogical and research uses of Artificial Intelligence technologies, to begin August 2024. Additional scholarly focus in any of the following areas: medieval or early modern literature; Latinx literature, world literature.

The successful candidate will contribute to the English department's intellectual life by pursuing an active research agenda, designing and teaching courses in the major and in the general core curriculum, pursuing interdisciplinary curricular collaborations, and serving on departmental, school, and/or university committees.
Education / Experience:
Minimum requirements include a Ph.D. in English or related field in hand by time of appointment; an active publishing agenda; a record of excellence in college-level teaching; and a commitment to interdisciplinary curricular collaborations in the digital humanities.
