The Content Marketing Specialist, under the supervision of the Director of Enrollment Communications, manages the Tarleton State University Division of Enrollment Management's print marketing and other visual communication projects. This position will implement projects/strategies for the continual enhancement of prospective student print marketing, develop content to promote prospective student events, and will be responsible for the creation of media to support undergraduate enrollment initiatives.
This is an in office position located in Stephenville, Texas. Work hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm or as work requirements indicate.
Must be able to work remotely at the request of the University.
Responsibilities:
40%- Leads the development and design for media projects, including mailed print pieces and graphic design for web, mobile app, social media, and email marketing utilizing various design programs including but not limited to Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe lnDesign, and Canva. Provides creative direction for overall media design and ensures designs adhere to university brand standards.
25%- Develops and implements an event promotional strategy which can include print mailers, social media, email marketing, and cross-promotional efforts with campus partners like academic colleges or community college partners.
15%- Create email marketing content for prospective students who show interest in the university before their senior year of high school.
10%- Collaborate with Tarleton Marketing and Communications department stakeholders to ensure collaboration on marketing and communication initiatives that involve Enrollment Management.
5%- Assists in developing and implementing the overall Enrollment Management communications plan and managing the communication calendar
5%- Other duties as assigned
RequiredEducationandExperience:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years of related experience in graphic design, project management, and/or email marketing.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud products and Canva.
Experience with email marketing platforms.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently once given a project.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to think creatively and implement concepts in a team environment.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Fluency in Spanish is preferred.

The target base annual salary is $48,592 and may be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.
