Golf Rose Animal Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic, caring, team-oriented, full-time, experienced Associate or Emergency Veterinarian to join our general practice and 24-hour emergency hospital. We are located in Schaumburg, IL, a northwest suburb of Chicago.

About our Hospital: Golf Rose is a full-service small animal hospital, offering the best in medical, surgical, and emergency care. Our team, clients, and patients are our highest priority! We believe that individualized care and personal attention are essential for quality veterinary care. Golf Rose emphasizes wellness and preventative medicine with large case volumes in internal medicine, dentistry, and surgery. We mainly treat dogs and cats, but one of our associates also treats exotics and avian patients. However, seeing exotics is not a requirement for any interested candidates. Our hospital is well-established in the community and has been serving Cook County for over 40 years. Our medical director, Dr. Todd Landoch, started working at Golf Rose as an assistant, graduated through various positions, and returned as a veterinarian after receiving his DVM from Michigan State. Many of our doctors and support staff have been here for 10+ years, creating a supportive, collaborative culture.
We moved into our new spacious, modern facility in 2016, which is fully equipped with a comprehensive in-house IDEXX lab (CBC, chemistry, urinalysis, SNAP tests, blood gas) and IDEXX digital cytology, which has an incredibly quick turnaround time and can be utilized 24/7. Our imaging equipment includes digital radiography, digital dental radiography, and brand-new ultrasound. Our associate, Dr. Hayden Kaderly, is proficient in echocardiograms and sends the scans out for review. Every exam room has a computer and video monitor and our largest two exam rooms have lift tables. We are fully paperless, using Cornerstone for our electronic medical records. Dr. Christy McCratic also offers acupuncture and chiropractic services. Furthermore, some of our other highly utilized equipment includes our companion laser and oxygen cages, which can provide oxygen support for multiple patients at a time.
Golf Rose has two surgery suites and a dentistry suite. Most of our doctors are comfortable with routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries and Dr. Mark Muskal performs our orthopedic surgeries or they are referred out as needed. We perform routine surgeries Monday through Friday and emergency surgeries seven days per week. Pre-op lab work, IV catheters, and pain management are required for every patient and they are closely monitored by our amazing support staff. We have a portable CO2 laser that is used in our surgery and dental suites.
Most importantly, we have an amazing support staff and we utilize them to the fullest! Each doctor has a dedicated technician during the day or night shift and we have floating technicians and assistants to offer additional support where needed. Some of our technicians have been here for over 20 years, helping you be incredibly efficient!
Hours of Operation: Our normal hospital hours are 8 am to 7 pm on weekdays and 8 am to 3 pm on Saturdays, where our doctors see appointments and perform routine surgeries, as well as see walk-in emergencies. Our overnight veterinarians see emergencies from 7 pm to 7 am on weekdays and all-day Sundays. We are looking for a full-time veterinarian to join our team and work from 1 pm to 10 pm, seeing appointments or walk-in emergencies from 1 – 4 pm and emergencies from 5 -10 pm. Ideal Qualifications:
