Job Summary:
The Office of Student Organizations and Activities is searching for a detail-oriented individual to provide support for the University of Kentucky student organizations community of 600+ student organizations.
The Coordinator for Student Organizations is responsible for the annual registration of all Registered Student Organizations – for returning and new organizations. This position creates and implements comprehensive training materials and in-person and online resources to support student organizations that include but are not limited to: organization management, leadership, and BBNvolved usage. The Coordinator for Student Organizations plans and executes campus-wide involvement fairs throughout the academic year.
Additional responsibilities include database management of the Office of Student Organizations and Activities' online registration system and general organization outreach and consultation.
The minimum requirements for this position are a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of work experience, preferably experience with training and development, database management, or program development. Ability to take initiative, think innovatively, exercise strong time-management skills, and showcase exceptional organization is critical. Ability to project management, implement and assess programs, think strategically, and work effectively through change is necessary.

Skills /Knowledge/Abilities:
Student organization registration, student personnel programming, and knowledge of student development and leadership. Also data-entry and database management.

Preferred Education/Experience:
The successful candidate will possess a master's degree in higher education, student personnel, student development, community leadership development, or related field of study, and at least a year of work experience, preferably with training and development, database management, or program development.
