Arcadis is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler/Project Controller to join the Arcadis Construction Services Team. The successful candidate must have project controls experience including, but not limited to planning/scheduling, cost management, and earned value preferably during all phases of Capital Projects. The successful candidate must possess solid leadership, technical, organizational, communication and presentation skills, and a proven ability to work in a dynamic environment. A work history that represents increased levels of responsibility on a progressive basis is important.

Role accountabilities:
The expectations of the candidate will be to develop realistic project plans and schedules to meet project objectives, ensuring standard procedures and systems for project planning and scheduling are followed. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the planning and scheduling functions across multiple project locations.
Some of these functions would include but not limited to, completing risk reviews, creation of baseline project schedules, perform various schedule analysis or scenarios to simulate alternate construction strategies, creation of work breakdown structures (WBS), complete/lead planning sessions with project teams, prepare project status reports, communicate with supervisors to determine status of assigned projects, capture sequence revisions, update the contract schedules, develop and issue periodic reports (e.g. Critical path report, 4 weeks Look schedule view, Full Time Equivalent Histograms, Earned value Analysis, Logic revision log_), and develop recovery plans over potential delays captured.
This position will require that the candidate thoroughly understands: scope, drawings, specifications and performs mathematical calculations to determine work flow, tools, and resource (labor, material and equipment) requirements, how to fully build and maintain an organized integrated EPC schedule using CPM, resource loading, baselining, coding, and cost accounts.

Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
7+ years experience in Scheduling
Minimum of a post secondary diploma or Bachelors Degree
Must have experience on the planning of major capital projects for both underground mining and surface projects
Valid Drivers License
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suites of Software.
