The HRIS Manager will support and maintain specialized and internal HR systems, services, and applications used in organizations with customized or specialized needs. Oversees the development and implementation of new or updated systems, reports and dashboards, and policies and procedures. In addition, she/he is responsible for day-to-day support of HRIS impacting time and attendance, benefits, payroll, applicant tracking, data requests, and reporting and data analysis. This position ensures accurate best practice business process/workflows and other system dependencies are in place to support departmental needs. Works with Leadership, internal partners and UPC to identify, suggest and/or deploy analytics needed for business objectives. The HRIS Manager will use extensive knowledge of computer technology and apply keen sense of analytical problem solving within the HRIS systems.
Essential Duties:
Oversees and maintains optimal function of the organizations internal HR information services systems, which may include database management, network support, installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades to applications, systems, and modules.
Collaborates with leadership, HR and UPC to identify needed improvements and enhancements to existing information services and databases; recommends and implements solutions.
Maintain the integrity of the existing structure, security, and data.
Accountable for the development and distribution of critical reports/dashboards to the organization. Compiles or assists with acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs requested by senior executives and HR staff.
Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, Information Services and other stakeholders for HR database design and implementation projects.
Analyze problems, determine the approach, compile and analyze data, and prepare reports/recommendation to define Human Resources processes.
Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
Lead the vendor relationship and stay informed of industry trend, developments, and new technologies in data management and security, HR technology, and HRIS applications.
Implements efficient means of data collection and maintenance. Supervises generation of regular and special reports. Recommends changes in methods or procedures to increase efficiency.
Work in a project manager capacity for departmental projects â identifying needs, timeline, results, and implementation changes. Drive, project manage and provide training to team around HRIS functionality.
Lead and develop people; provide training, coaching, mentoring, and regular communication to ensure a high-performance and engaged team.
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex or escalated issues that arise regarding systems and data.
Understand numerous, interrelated processes, Human Resources, and programs for driving improvements and automation in order to increase quality, experience and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:
Req Bachelor's degree Degree in Human Resources Management, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field required.
Req 5 years 5-7 years HR Systems management and reporting experience required.
Req 1 year 1- 2 years Supervisor and/or Lead experience required
Req Project management or system implementation experience required
Req Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, HRMS and LMS Systems.
Req Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Req Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Req Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
Req Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one or more HRIS products
Req Prefer experience with any of the following systems: Workday, HealthStream, Cornerstone, Kronos, or Document Management Systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Pref Master's degree Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field preferred.
Pref Experience in hospital setting preferred
Pref HR Certification HR Certification Preferred.
Required Licenses/Certifications:
Req Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)

The annual base salary range for this position is $110,240.00 - $181,896.00.
