Project Manager (Administrative Project Coordinator - MR07)

The Project Manager will oversee the day to day operations of the AHEAD-RN project and outreach activities. In addition, the position will manage the budget and develop reports for HRSA and the School of Nursing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the facilitation of employment information for graduate students; and assist in the recruitment of students from the urban/rural areas to the BSN program.
Assist in the development and deployment of marketing; develop and maintain trainee database; assist in the creation of AHEAD-RN video modules; assist in the monitoring and evaluation of traineeship orientation and learning modules; assist in the assignment of traineeship students to specific AHEAD-RN clinical sites; and assist in the selection of traineeship students and setting up experiences for trainees.
Develop feedback cycle tools to improve the quality of clinical experiences with the project evaluator; obtain bids on simulation software and purchase all equipment and supplies.
Assist with scheduling annual conferences for precepting and cultural competency; assist in program development with making all logistical arrangements; develop and execute marketing plan; assist in the development of the virtual learning environment and schedule standardized patient actors to record digital learning modules.
Schedule and record minutes for all grant related meetings; assist with obtaining student grades/course evaluations for assessment of student learning; assist the Evaluator in surveying students and faculty and maintaining data.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office/Office 365.
- Knowledge of a variety of computer programs (SON uses Typhon to track student clinical information, SHAREPOINT) and understanding of SPSS or an associated program.
- Knowledge of grant management, purchasing processes, and maintaining program records.
- Knowledge of the fiscal aspect of large projects including the maintenance of program ledgers and management of all resources.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Business, Education, Social Work, or Psychology and two years of experience in management.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in higher education and with federal grants; knowledge of HRSA grant requirements; and knowledge of reporting or program activity and budgeting.
