Overview
Automation as a Service is a group specifically targeted at delivering digital products focused on delivering solutions in low-friction and easily consumable manner that benefits clients and operations for whom banking is not their core business but a service that they require. These offerings will deliver digital interfaces and capabilities to both internal and external clients to ensure a low-touch low-friction low-complexity approach.
You will have the opportunity to influence the design of complex platforms from Day One and help lead the teams to expand upon our platform to solve the technology challenges of tomorrow: providing automation solutions, building out components of our single-user interface portal our key-stone technology platform that is both internal and external client-facing. Our team is tasked with transforming the Corporate Bank on a distinctive portfolio of work introducing green-field technology and responsibilities that include transforming operational teams, and joining the team is a unique opportunity to help re-design the core of some mission critical processing systems from the ground up. Corporate Bank covers a broad portfolio of Cash Management, Securities Services, Trade Finance and Trust & Agency Services, supported through 'horizontally' aligned teams such as Client Connectivity, Infrastructure, Architecture, Production, Surveillance & Regulatory, and Risk & Control, and we are looking for a User Experience (UX) designer to join one of these horizontally aligned teams to support Corporate Bank's portfolio by bringing a laser focus on customer-centricity.

What You'll Do
Lead the design through the discovery, design, development and delivery processes while identifying continuous improvement opportunities, while using qualitative and quantitative research methods to support your decision making
Design user-friendly, accessible, best practice and pixel-perfect mobile-first applications for web and devices, as well as produce interactive prototypes in Figma or Axure for user testing and demonstrations, while conducting user interviews and user testing (in-person and remote)
Run workshop/walkthrough sessions using Design Sprint and Design Thinking methodologies and perform project specific design reviews using accepted heuristics, while ensuring all outputs adhere to relevant policies and standards
Mentor junior User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI) designers while collaborating closely with your Squad and Tribe, and constantly push for a user-centred approach while delivering to business requirements, while guiding the evolution of an existing design system
Able to design to iOS, Android, responsive web and WCAG 2.1 AA standards and be conscious of and design to brand guidelines
Work with development to review and deliver applications
Skills You'll Need
Relevant professional working experience
A broad and comprehensive knowledge of user experience and user interface design supported by a portfolio of case studies (please provide this)
Expert at designing and prototyping in Figma
Fluent in written and spoken English
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Bachelor's degree in information or interaction design, communication design or studies in a comparable subject
Previous experience in designing complicated enterprise-level workflows
Expertise in the following applications: Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Axure
Experience in JIRA and Confluence
Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $95,000 to $140,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
