Hybrid Work Note:
The CCCU D.C. Headquarters is open 5 days a week. Staff are eligible to work remotely on Monday/Friday with approval of their supervisor. Candidates must be able to work effectively in both an in-person and virtual environment.
Sponsorship & Advertising Coordinator The Job Overview: The Sponsorship & Advertising Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of sponsorship and advertising in programs, events, publication, and online for the CCCU. This position reports to the Chief Advancement Officer (CAO), working closely to secure and maintain sponsor revenue, and ensuring sponsors receive value and recognition in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives. This position plays a critical role for the CCCU and is essential in maintaining positive sponsor relationships and ensuring the delivery of promised benefits to sponsors.
Essential Functions of the Role:
Identify, research potential sponsors that align with CCCU's mission and values.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with current sponsors.
Coordinate all aspects of fulfillment of sponsorship agreements, including drafting/negotiation of agreements, compliance obligations, invoicing and payment processing, inquiries and prompt/professional responses to inquiries.
Monitor accuracy of sponsorship information on all conference pages; advertising purchases (newsletters, email blasts, webpage ads).
Monitor and report on metrics and deliverables, including impressions and other key performance indications. Providing updates to internal stakeholders on a consistent basis.
Collaborate with the Conference team to ensure sponsor requirements are met at events.
Manage and prepare all deliverables due to sponsors for each event, including registration and confirmation of all sponsoring representatives.
Review all conference program drafts for accuracy.
Organize sponsor-related activities and initiatives, such as sponsor booths, hospitality suites, or recondition ceremonies.
Work with the CAO to develop and manage the sponsorship budget. Including tracking and reporting on sponsorship revenue and expenses.
Maintain accurate database entry of all current and former sponsors.
Preferred Skills:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sponsorship management software (e.g., CRM systems).
Attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in sponsorship and partnership management.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field (preferred).
Previous experience in sponsorship coordination, marketing, or event management.
Competitive Total Compensation Package:
This position is a part time role at 20 hours per week.
The CCCU covers 55% of the employee cost for Health, Dental and Vision.
