What Customer Contract Administration contributes to Cardinal Health Sales Administration/Operations is responsible for supporting the sales organization and driving operational excellence in order to achieve the strategic and sales objectives established by the sales organization. This includes sales tools/productivity improvement, customer contract administration, business metrics/analytics, and rewards architecture.
The Manager, RFP Management role is responsible for responding to RFIs and RFPs and coordinating administration of customer contract terms and conditions across multiple areas to maximize contract value.
Responsibilities
Lead and support resources in the project management of RFI and RFP processes to meet internal and external deadlines across multiple sales teams operating in dynamic, complex healthcare markets.
Collaborate across RFP Consultants and SMEs in the creation of high quality and persuasive responses to customer requirements and challenges.
Provide oversight and consultation on processes and policies related to content library and supplementary documentation.
Deploy RFP resources efficiently to ensure work and business unit priorities align to key go-to-market strategies of varied businesses and customers.
Collaborate with business partners to develop a robust process for proactively reviewing and prioritizing RFP work, and quickly address evolving customer and market needs.
Establish and report on key metrics that help stakeholders understand work, value and priorities being managed by the RFP team to ensure contributions remain aligned to business unit and customer needs.
Lead and promote the sharing of ideas for process and content improvements, including industry trends, best practices, new service offerings, new tools, etc.
Assess and make recommendations on new technology and market trends that allow the team to continuously evaluate, recommend, and build business cases for improvements that promote advances in automation and efficiencies.
Train new employees and support team members as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
8-12 years experience with proposal writing and/or RFP project management preferred- with previous supervisory experience preferred
Strong writing and project management skills
Ability to translate complex ideas and information into concise, easy-to-understand communication materials
Healthcare / pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
Experience with Qvidian and Salesforce preferred
