The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at DePaul University's Driehaus College of Business invites applications for a full-time assistant professor tenure-track position in operations/supply chain management beginning academic year 2024-2025. Applicants must have a doctorate in operations management/research or related field (ABD considered). Prior university teaching experience is preferred and candidates with industry experience are welcome. We also invite applications from candidates with experience and a track record of publication in top journals seeking credit toward tenure. Responsibilities of the position will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in supply chain management, maintaining a program of active scholarship and university service. Candidates with supplemental experience or interest in teaching business analytics are welcome.

The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship houses a diverse, multi-disciplinary and research-active faculty who support undergraduate and graduate programs in business analytics, human resource management, entrepreneurship, general management, supply chain management, and sustainability management. Many of the department's faculty also support the college's rigorous Doctorate in Business Administration program. The department is also home to the Coleman Center for Entrepreneurship . A number of active student groups are affiliated with the department.
DePaul University's Driehaus College of Business is located in the heart of downtown Chicago's vibrant urban business district. The college has built a strong relationship with the local business community, including corporate partnerships with many of the city's leading organizations . The college also maintains strong affiliations with the Chicago start-up community, including memberships in a technology incubator ( 1871 ) and an incubator for music and entertainment-related ventures ( 2112 ). Students also have access to the Idea Realization Lab , an on-campus 4,500 sq. ft. makerspace, with a variety of fabrications tools - including thermal formers, 3-D printers, and laser cutters.

Required Qualifications: The required qualifications are a Doctoral degree in Operations/Supply Chain Management or related field. ABD candidates will be considered. Prior university teaching experience in areas of operations management, supply chain management, decision science, logistics, or project management is preferred. Candidates with supplemental experience or interest in teaching business analytics are welcome. Candidates with industry experience are welcome.
