Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Sr Project Manager and with the guidance from key Center leaders, the Research Data Analyst (RDA) will provide support in a variety of activities related to project coordination, data collection, data management, data analysis, project evaluation design, and grant and report writing. This position will coordinate and support evaluation using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies to measure the impact programs and other outcomes. This position will work closely with health center teams, community-based partners, community members, and project teams to ensure the day-to-day implementation of project efforts are maintained and aligned with evaluation workplans. This position will work to analyze a variety of different data including but not limited to patient experience data, clinic data, pre/post survey data, needs assessment data, focus group data, etc. Additionally, this position will also help with evaluation design of new projects or new outcome measures. This is a full-time position currently funded through March 31, 2025 with the possibility of extension. This position may require travel, including weekends, to sites for data collection and/or in person meetings.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in evaluation, social science, bio statistics, statistics, epidemiology, public health, or closely related field or equivalent experience/training.
Experience engaging and coordinating with multiple project partners.
Experience preparing reports and other communication materials.
Experience with program evaluation.
Experience gathering and analyzing research data.
Experience with SAS, SPSS, or STATA or other statistical software.
Experience preparing and summarizing information and/or recommendations.
Experience maintaining and developing research gathering, retrieval and reporting systems.
Experience conducting literature reviews.
Strong writing skills in order to prepare reports and materials and communicate with key project members.
Experience with computer-based data management, analysis, word processing and design (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe Creative Suite).
Skills to conduct statistical analysis, write up, and clearly explain findings,
Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills; as well as the ability to work with different partners.
Strong writing skills in order to prepare reports and materials and communicate with key project members.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in evaluation, social science, bio statistics, statistics, epidemiology, public health, or closely related field.
Strong administrative experience and ability to prioritize and organize schedules and project deliverables
Strong experience with project coordination and communication with community partners
Experience planning, coordinating and successfully implementing events
Experience developing and conducting trainings
Experience working with Community Health Centers/Federally Qualified Health Centers
Experience with program evaluation from design to implementation, analysis, and reporting
Experience developing surveys with Qualtrics or other survey development platforms.
Experience designing evaluation plans including development of implementation and reporting processes.
Experience with Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services Assessment
Experience with AHRQ Assessments
Experience working in an academic institution
Familiarity with UCDH structures and departments as well as community organizations
Experience with UCD automated systems, such as UC Path, Aggie Travel, EcoTime
Knowledge of research design, implementation, and evaluation
Ability to conduct statistical analysis
Ability to interpret findings, and write and clearly explain findings
Skills to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner (written and verbal)
Knowledge of UC and UCDH policies and procedures

The mission of the Center for Reducing Health Disparities (CRHD or the Center)is to promote the health and well-being of diverse, underserved communities by addressing practices and policies in research and evaluation, workforce development, education, training, technical assistance and services, dissemination of research findings, and implementation of promising practices within a prevention, early intervention and treatment framework that recognizes the unique cultural and linguistic contexts of underserved populations.

This position will be remote, with occasional office days and travel for data collection or community partner meetings.
