Under the direction of the EVS Assistant Director and EVS Supervisor, this position provides independent analytical support for payroll, human resources, departmental policy and procedure creation and project management. This analyst plays a crucial role in collecting, structuring, analyzing, and reporting on processes and data. The analyst is responsible for independently planning and assisting with the development of departmental policies and procedures. Provides support to the EVS Leadership team with the processing of the staffing services department human resources aspects. This includes collaborating with HR on behalf of the department to post, screen, interview and hire EVS staff. General duties involve facilitating projects, defining priorities and action steps, researching ideas and plans with stakeholders, drafting concept papers, developing timelines and discuss budgets, and making recommendations as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications
Project management and/or equivalent administrative experience or training.
Analytical experience to extract and assess data to provide statistical analysis for management review while evaluating complex issues and problems to independently develop and apply effective recommendations and solutions.
Experience in assisting with the development and generation of monthly management reports of personnel data for review by departmental management teams.
Analytical experience and skills to review established policies and procedures, data, and situations for conformance with established guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
Experience working in a healthcare and/or hospital environment.
Knowledge and understanding of campus-wide offices, administrative contacts, departments and resources.
Knowledge and understanding of UCDMC/UCDH/University policies and procedures and Staff Personnel policies and procedures.
