Health and Wellbeing, comprised of University Health Services (UHS) and Recreation and Wellbeing (RecWell) is conducting a recruitment for a Chief of Staff to the Associate Vice Chancellor over Health and Wellbeing within Student Affairs.
The Chief of Staff will serve as a senior advisor to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs over Health and Wellbeing.
Duties include: Provides oversight and guidance to projects of high importance Manages daily operations in a unit, department, or functional area of executive leadership Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives Propose, develop and manage policies developed within various sub-functions, departments, and work groups Collaborate with campus and community partners
This position requires collaboration with RecWell, UHS, other Student Affairs Departments, and campus leadership. Health and Wellbeing is looking for someone with experience in higher education, health and wellbeing, student affairs, or related field.

Responsibilities:
Plans and directs all administrative, financial, and operational activities for a leadership position with institutional influence and oversight (Vice Chancellor, Associate Vice Chancellor, Dean, Provost, Vice Provost, Associate Vice Provost, Institutional Director/Chief). Organizes and prioritizes critical issues and required information for the executive to facilitate efficient decision-making.

At least six years of professional and progressively more responsible experience in the field of higher education, health and wellbeing, student affairs or related field with responsibilities requiring discretion, sound judgement, management, and policy-making. 2. Experience supervising professional staff
