What's the role? Bloomberg's Chief Risk Office (CRO) Department plays a critical role in supporting our businesses and operations around the world. The Regulatory Operational Resilience Risk team, within CRO, works cross-functionally across Bloomberg for the ongoing development and implementation of the Operational Resilience Framework. This team provides advisory services and supports the implementation activities across Operational Resilience domains (as described below) pursuant to global regulatory requirements and business needs, in efforts to manage the associated risks.
In an increasingly regulated global economic environment, we are looking to grow our team, seeking highly motivated and experienced Risk professionals.
We'll trust you to:
Keep abreast of current and upcoming regulations, globally, and the requirements related to Operational Resilience (e.g., DORA, FCA Operational Resilience, CFTC Reg. SST, SEC Reg. SCI/ATS, MAS TRM)
Consolidate regulatory requirements across Operational Resilience domains (e.g., risk management, information security, SDLC, BCP, DR, Incident Management, Outsourcing)
Review current control environment and industry best practices across Operational Resilience domains to map to regulatory requirements
Coordinate working groups across different workstreams to define and prioritize implementation activities including process and control enhancements while keeping the various lines of business in focus
Design, develop and maintain project delivery i.e., developing a project plan, roadmap, status reporting, dependencies, risks etc. for presentation to senior management and relevant stakeholders
Work with relevant teams across the Company to oversee the implementation of Operational Resilience activities pursuant to specific regulatory regimes
Assist in the development and consistent roll-out of the Operational Resilience Framework across the Company
Review and maintain associated policies, procedures, strategy and program documentation ensuring alignment with applicable regulations
Deliver trainings on Operational Resilience regulations and provide management updates on various program initiatives
Participate in various regulatory engagements (e.g., providing feedback on draft Discussion/Consultation Paper for upcoming regulations) specifically related to Operational Resilience
Support regulatory inquiries, exams, license applications by overseeing the responses to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and current processes/controls [BP1]
Work cross-functionally with senior management across Legal, Compliance, Government Relations, Risk and Control Functions, Product, Engineering, and other relevant Operational Resilience teams to effectively carry out the above responsibilities
You'll need to have:
7+ years' experience across one or more of the following would be preferred: risk management, project management, regulatory program implementation, and operational risk and control functions
Bachelor's Degree or higher in, Information Systems, Business, Management, or related discipline
Knowledge of relevant regulations and/or industry standards across Operational Resilience domains
Proven intellectual curiosity through professional training, advanced degree or professional impact
Excellent time management skills and ability to deliver work on assigned schedules
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to act decisively and independently to resolve complex issues

Salary Range: 130,000 - 180,000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
