Position Summary: The College of Business Administration at Central Michigan University is accepting applications for a tenure-track (open rank) position in Information Systems to commence in January 2024 or August 2024. Primary responsibilities include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, both online and face-to-face, and conducting research in information systems.
Required Qualifications:
A doctorate with a major or concentration in Information Systems, Computer Science, operations, or a related discipline (ABD will also be considered if it is clear the degree will be conferred by the time of appointment).
Evidence of teaching effectiveness at the college/university level.
An active research agenda with evidence of, or potential for, quality scholarly activity.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Expertise and training in SAP/ERP, cybersecurity, project management, data analytics, and/or artificial intelligence (AI).
Teaching and/or leadership experience in SAP/ERP, cybersecurity, project management, data analytics, and/or artificial intelligence (AI).
Evidence of online teaching experience and high-quality, student-centered interaction.
