As an Employment Attorney Vice President, you will be part of the Employment, Incentives & Pensions team in the Americas region which provides cross-cluster assistance for Barclays Execution and the regional businesses (primarily Barclays' investment banking, corporate banking and the credit card businesses). In this role, you will coordinate and work with the Americas and global teams to provide real-time employment legal advice and counsel in a fast-paced environment.

What will you be doing?
??? Providing employment legal advice and counsel in a fast-paced financial services environment, in connection with matters presenting material employment legal risk ??? Advising on and managing all forms of employee disputes and litigation matters, including agency charges, arbitration proceedings, court litigation ??? Advising on legal issues relating to DE&I-related subjects and supporting compliance reviews/audits ??? Advising on wage-and-hour practices, including overtime issues, and on the administration of compensation programs, such as equity-based programs and deferred compensation ??? Drafting and negotiating employment offer letters and agreements, developing templates and forms and advising on restrictive covenants ??? Working with HR and HR-Employee Relations on the development and drafting of employment policies and their application under various state and federal laws and in the global context ??? Developing and delivering employment law training for HR and others to proactively address issues and/or changes or developments in law ??? Advising on legal issues relating to DE&I-related subjects, assisting with compliance reviews/audits
What we're looking for:
??? J.D. with admission to NJ and/or NY Bar ??? Five years of experience as an employment lawyer
