Supporting the Program in Public Health, the Space and Facilities works Coordinator consults with campus partners and is responsible for ensuring efficient management and operations of all phases of capital planning and space projects, facilities oversight. Provides programming resource, project oversight, manage space and renovations, resolves general facilities issues. Participates in workgroups, committees and teams with Capital Planning, College of Health Sciences (COHS) and other campus partners in all phases of capital projects and plans, and space projects for the program. Provides advisory, high level reports and coordination to Space Planning and COHS on behalf of the Program in the implementation of short and long-range plans for space utilization to accommodate changing needs. Day-to-day oversight of office space, including working with COHS building manager, coordination with vendors for office equipment, ordering of office supplies, management of conference rooms and bookings. This position is hybrid but with expectation to be on-site, as needed.

Bachelor's degree in project management, facilities management, business administration
Knowledge of research lab space Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality Project management Ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes Proficient writing skills to prepare/compose/review a variety of communications, primarily electronic. Ability to work independently, using judgment and decision-making skills to conduct short and long range planning, to prioritize tasks, and to follow through with related activities and request for information in an environment with a high volume diverse workload, of frequent interruptions, competing deadlines, changing priorities and compelling requests.
