Job Description:
At Regions, the EnerBank Independent Contractor Division Consultant I's primary responsibility to determine which customer leads meet the bank's minimum requirements and provides administrative support in areas including new business development, relationship management, data control and accuracy, project management and scheduling. This role reports to the Independent Contractor Division Team leader and works across groups to include Business Development, Relationship Management, Credit, Contractor Setup and Contractor Support.
EnerBank USA, a subsidiary of Regions Bank, engages in strategic partnerships with home-improvement manufacturers, distributors, franchisors, trade groups, and other organizations (with networks of home improvement contractors) to develop customized white-label loan programs to help them increase their sales as well as attract and retain top dealers.
Primary Responsibilities
Prescreen prospects and leads to verify eligibility for EnerBank lending programs
Follow up on leads to inquire all information needed
Assist in the accurate input of customer relationship information
Answer inbound customers calls and direct internally as needed
Help track the status of new qualified prospects
Assist in the maintenance of contractor files
Work with division manager on scheduling, complaint resolution, contractor research and other support as needed
Work cross-functionally to support the Contractor Division's processes
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
High School Degree or GED
Two (2) years of customer service experience in a banking environment
Preferences
Bachelor's degree
Skills and Competencies
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
Consistently able to meet predetermined deadlines and commitments
Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on diplomacy, persuasion and problem resolution
Organized with a strong attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
