The department will annually provide competitive funding and the college offers summer funding opportunities and research grants to support research. Optimally, this professor will be expected to contribute to program innovations within the college, along with fulfilling other meaningful institutional and professional service responsibilities. UW’s College of Business seeks to revise and create programs that address market demands and the person who fills this position will assist their more senior colleagues in these efforts. However, the department seeks to shield assistant professors from heavy service demands. As such, the ideal candidate is a well-rounded academic who has an interest in helping the college build a strong regional reputation.
Interested individuals should submit a cover letter emphasizing their qualifications for and interest in the position, their curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching effectiveness, and contact information for three work-related references.
