Summary: Lead the efforts to develop efficient cross-functional business processes that result in accurate asset and work management data for Great River Energy Power Supply division. This position will provide back-up coverage to the fuel and energy market specialist and assist in the support of the maintenance management system and lead outage cost planning for the generation fleet.

A typical starting range for this position is $87,000 - $102,000 annually. Responsibilities: Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Lead the efforts to effectively and efficiently document generation maintenance activities.
Maintain the generation maintenance work documentation processes.
Standardize plans, locations, and assets to ensure consistency between GRE facilities.
Maintain work orders, PMs, and assets within the Maximo application.
Assist in the development of metrics that lead to increased generation fleet maintenance effectiveness.
Digitization of test reports to facilitate more streamlined data collection and verification.
Integration of capital and O&M work orders that are tied to critical assets and locations.
Oversee the entry of new or revised information due to capital or O&M work order activities.
Maintain continuity with accurate daily fuel procurement, marketing of the generation fleet and reporting requirements in the absence of the Fuel and Market specialist.
Understand and maintain gas storage inventories on the pipeline systems.
Maintain proficiency in fuel purchasing, scheduling, and balancing for natural gas and fuel oil.
Develop reports and interfaces to assist in regulatory and compliance needs.
Develop annual labor, operations & maintenance, capital equipment budgets.
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, engineering or equivalent along with relational database knowledge and 3 + years’ experience in the electric utility or natural gas business is required. A strong working knowledge of natural gas, oil and energy markets is preferred. Must have strong analytical, interpretive, and decision-making skills.
