Capital Credit Risk - Assistant Vice President Wilmington, DE
As a Barclays Capital Analyst - AVP, you will be the technical authority on RWA rules and treatments, and you will be responsible for advice and council to multiple business areas and strategic business decisions as part of capital planning for the US Consumer Bank financial plan and stress testing. You will also work with colleagues across multiple functions (Finance, Business Line, Technology, etc.) to source data, develop RWA solutions, document approaches, sensitivities and limitations, and present results to senior management.

What will you be doing?
??? Developing and implementing data quality reviews, as well as month-over-month RWA movement dashboards with commentary to advise senior management ??? Reviewing, documenting, and understanding the RWA process flow to ensure data from source systems is being interpreted and used for correct application ??? Documenting and maintaining controls and governance for spot and forecast and escalate issues to management ??? Developing and maintaining regulatory self-assessment to support the Legal Entity Chief Risk Officer attestations ??? Handling RWA forecasting, including methodology, inputs & assumptions, documentation, sensitivities, results, and clear commentary to explain drivers and moving parts ??? Assessing ongoing business decisions, as well as new mergers and acquisitions, from an RWA perspective ??? Supporting AIRB model owner; assessing and influencing the conceptual soundness, design, data quality, and model performance and overlays to ensure compliance ??? Serving as primary point of contact for Model Risk Management, Audits and controls testing teams to control design, documentation, execution, and policy compliance
What we're looking for:
??? More than five years of experience in financial services (Risk Management, Financial Planning, Marketing and/or Finance) ??? Sound knowledge of Basel IV, applicable laws and regulations of Risk Weighted Assets and Capital Management ??? Proficient with analytical tools (Excel, SAS, SQL, Python) to manage data, conduct analysis, and present results ??? Self-motivated and detail orientated
Skills that will help you in the role:
??? Experience of managing AIRB and standardized RWA frameworks and processes for Retail or Wholesale portfolios ??? Experience leading projects with cross-functional teams ??? Graduate or undergraduate degree in business, finance, statistics, economic or other math-based discipline required ??? Previous management experience
